{sites I have built}

here are a selection of websites which I have built during the last year or so:

www.rebekahcaudwelldesign.comCreateEscapes
The client had a good deal of brilliant content and this site really shows it off. The CMS is very thorough and easy to use: The client can control every element of the site including SEO, the Twitter feed, and the Google Maps element. The site ties into many Social Media platforms and can be viewed well on Mobile Devices too.

Design

Another example of a clean and simple website designed in conjunction with the client to match her ideas and design aesthetics. The client has full control of each and every image on the site and over each of the text areas. The client has also opted for a Blog which is fully integrated into the structure of the website. The Blog also has an 'RSS Feed' so that each blog post is delivered to the email inbox of those who subscribe.

www.mindfulnessinschools.orgMiSP & .b
This is a dynamic website built on the powerful industry standard CMS called 'Joomla!'. The site has a public facing side, and also a members area where files and information are available to those who have been on training days or conferences. The website can also take bookings for these events and conferences, and automatically sends out details regarding payment and conference itinerary to new delegates. It harvests basic contact information and keeps records of registered members securely in the 'back-office'. This not-for-profit business relies heavily on the professional functionality of the site in order to streamline the day-to-day running of the Mindfulness in Schools Project.

www.jodepear.comJo De Pear
This stylish site showcases Jo's amazing folio of beautiful prints, while also detailing her commission work, and the printmaking workshops which she runs.
The rich yet clean styling shows Jo's work off superbly and the site works beautifully on mobile devices such as the iPhone. Jo asked for a user friendly CMS (Content Management System) behind her site so that she can upload, edit, re-order and delete photos from the various slide-shows without having to contact me each time.

www.thearttrolley.com - a website advertising creative workshopsCreative Workshops
5 fun packed, informative pages detailing the Creative Workshops which this Artist offers to schools in the South East of England. There are video examples, and full listings of the numerous workshops she runs. Each of the 5 pages reinforces the Brand and its image. The Artist has a basic CMS installed so that she can edit the workshop listings and details from any web browser, anywhere in the world. (Even from her mobile phone!)

romilyhay.comRomily Hay
Romily's beautiful and delicate drawings and paintings called for a clean, open design to give the work space to breath.
The client is in complete control of the content of her site thanks to the intuitive and powerful CMS which runs silently behind the scenes.

Artist's showcase websiteLorena Carbajal
Clean and professional, this 10 page Artist's site displays recent work and an archive of past pieces.
Each gallery offers details of the title, date, size and materials of each individual image, along with an introductory text helping the viewer get under the skin of the work. This site continues to be an important factor in Lorena winning awards, residencies, scholarships and commissions. It also acts as a central point of contact, and messages sent from the Contact page can be forwarded to any number of existing email accounts.

www.daviddixonphotography.comDavid Dixon
Photography

This 5 page showcase site presents David's photographic work in a sleek and professional way while clearly outlining the services he offers.
The crisp, contemporary styling sets just the right tone, and the 'thumbnail strip' on the left of the Gallery page makes for easy, intuitive navigation of the library of images. The Contact page uses a PHP email form (to greatly reduce spam), and both the Biography and Home pages help set a warm, friendly tone.

A website for new babyNew baby!
Commissioned by a new Father, this site lets family on the other side of the planet keep up-to-date via the photo galleries, "baby blog" and weight chart. He even added a video gallery after the first six months.
It's a busy little 2 page Flash based site (Flash offers slightly improved security of images), and the styling is fun and colourful with quirky animations throughout. This Dad kept his 'baby blog' running every day for the first 2 years of his daughter's life: What a beautiful record for the future.

Two websites under one roofJenny Miller & 116
This Artist also runs a professional gallery space, and wanted to keep her own Art and the Gallery under one site, but separately displayed.
The Contact page gathers information for her mailing list, while the Contact page contains a link to multimap so that clients can plan their journey in just one click. Styling cues were taken from the Artist's own paintings.
